Join YOL for a day of mindfulness, volunteering, connection and more at Forget Me Not Farm in Santa Rosa on Friday, October 20, 2017.
This special discounted program is designed to showcase YOL’s unique leadership programming and curriculum while offering you and your colleagues a unique opportunity to shed stress, have fun and give back to an incredible organization on a beautiful fall day.
We’ll meet at Forget Me Not Farm, just above Santa Rosa at 8:45 and you’ll learn about YOL’s approach to mindful service and get oriented to the day ahead.
Then, we will apply our intention and focus as we dig in the dirt and begin our volunteering activity. The group will break from our service engagement to enjoy a delicious, organic picnic lunch and conclude the day with a primer on mindful leadership from YOL facilitator, Zanette Johnson PhD, and a guided meditation before heading home, refreshed and relaxed.
Along the way we’ll also hear from FMNF’s Executive Director, Carol Rathmann to learn more about the history of the farm and their incredible mission and work.
Don’t miss this powerful experience! The cost to attend is just $98/person and your fee also includes a small donation to FMNF Have friends or co-workers who would be interested in joining as well? Register three of your people, and the fourth person will attend for free!

Zanette designs learning experiences to facilitate small, powerful workplace changes. Acting at first as an ethnographer, she watches and listens deeply to clients’ challenges; she then responds by testing new practices to stimulate desired growth patterns. She teaches teams adaptive processes that sustain their positive new dynamic over time. Dr. Johnson impacts teams by tinkering at three related levels: the workplace ecosystem, interpersonal interactions, and individual behavior. These meaningful changes garner big returns in terms of employees’ intrinsic satisfaction, engagement, and effectiveness. Zanette holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Religious Studies, a Master’s in Teaching, and a doctoral degree from Stanford University’s “Learning Science and Technology Design” program
